Saturday Morning Reflection #95

Good morning everyone...

Here it is saturday again. I suppose I shall have to resign myself to going fishing, with friends, on a boat, in the river, and....maybe even drink some beer. Isn't that HORRIBLE!!!:)

Since it is the 4th of July weekend, perhaps we should look back at America's past. We should remember the men that had the plans and dreams for a new nation. Somehow their visions have been corrupted by greed...and ignorance, perhaps even arrogance. I predict a new revolution by the people. When the silent majority grow tired of caring for the slackers, and the criminal element becomes too much for the silent majority to bear, they will rise up and swipe away the irritant. That day is coming soon. That will be the day that the political leaders no longer get to keep retirement after serving one term. There will be no continued health care for them...they will enjoy the same benefits as all Americans do. Also, since congress has decided that minimum wage is a liveable wage, then that is what they shall be paid.

Here's a chuckle to start your day...

A college drama group presented a play in which one character would stand on a trap door and announce, "I descend into hell!"

A stagehand below would then pull a rope, the trapdoor would spring, and the actor would drop from view.

The play was well received. When the actor playing the part became ill, another actor who was quite overweight took his place. When the new actor announced, "I descend into hell!" the stagehand pulled the rope, and the actor began his plunge, but became hopelessly stuck. No amount of tugging on the rope could make him descend.

One student in the balcony jumped up and yelled: "Hallelujah! Hell is full!"

Well, until the next time...please remember that I have to pay the bills
